SCIENCE: It's All Around Us...

SCIENCE.  It's all around us.  As much as we may not think about it, there's a science involved in our everyday lives.  Ranging from a study of a social class to an interdiscipline, chemical formulating science, we can't live without it.  (What's been once discovered can't go missing.)

If you go about being a painter, you will use paint in a form of creation with a brush as your tool.  A masterpiece awaits the moment the brush strokes the canvas, and the creation takes form.  Precision, accuracy, meta-cognition, an end goal, a message; it all gives a purpose for the painter to bring the picture to life.  In this instance the science comes through in the detail.  Every brush stroke had a purpose to the work, and every color chosen holds a scheme. Science lies in the explanation or study that the artist has to say about his work, and how the details portray itself throughout.  It relies on the correspondents in the artist's mindset.  A lot can be said or the message can be fairly simple.  You may be sitting here thinking that you could have gone through life without thinking this, but lets further explore the possibilities of science while I have you attention.

We all go through life with things given to us without thought; paper, pencils, desks, computers, water bottles, clothes.  An average student does not have to heavily observe all of these articles around them and interpret their live cycles up to that given moment in time, it would be down-right ridiculous in fact.  Too much thought into the manufacturing of each one of these items can give you a headache, but just enough thought can share some enlightenment.  Normally all we have to think about with these items are their costs in terms of money and how to use them to our needs and advantages.  Simply enough, we consistently sparcely give further application into account with these items around us in possible math/science problems.  In science like chemistry we would have a question proposed on the idea of how many water molecules does it take to fill a water bottle, or trying to figure out the composition of a #2 pencil.  Bearing heavy and profound eyes you can analyze these entities in a science like chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or physiology and bring a larger dynamic for the object and realize what impacts this object has done for you.  The more you observe it, the more you analyze it all, you can come to the agreement that science is truly all around you.

Going back to the painter's persepctive on things, we will revisit his intentions of his painting into detail.  In example I will utilize Michaelangelo's painting on the Sistine Chapel's ceiling.  If you pull up the image on google, enlarge the picture to its largest size in pixels, you'll see every detail perceived.  The story behind the painting was that God had created Adam, the first man, and he was releasing him to the ground below on to Earth.  The fingers close in distance of each other depicts a lingering bond.  The story of Adam and Eve proceeds into telling that they opened pandora's box for the rest of the world and God had every intention for the resulting events for that he does not make faults (according to the Christian Bible).  The separation from Earth and Heaven is deemed as divinely and it is brought to life in Michaelangelo's piece.  The cracks, the strokes, the color, and the mood that he clarified wholeheartedly brings a viewer's eyes in awe.  The psyche of Michaelangelo intended for the most divine image for the Sistine Chapel, and this is what rests on the ceiling there, expressing a visual for everyone else to then admire and pray underneath at their pews.  A true artist knew his intentions like a scientists in a laboratory.  Prescision, accuracy, measurements, and a focused study on the work and you will realize how science incorporates into something that could seem so random.

I'm studying chemistry now in school, and it hit me now how important it is to my life while having aspirations in science.  Like before, I mentioned that keen observation, and accurate applications of a study can interpret science in whole and unifty significance.  Now that I understand the connotation of moles, and now know that molecules and elements are uniform however they appear in the macroscaled perspective, I can prove to be more serious in learning all possible applications chemistry can withhold.  Now I look at an object and think of every element/molecule that must be needed for it to have its form.  Even in biology, physiology, and anatomy, we can incorporate chemistry and physics into their realm and fully understand the mechanics and technicalities of a cell and its composition through precise measurement and observation.  While being interdisciplinary science proves to be fascinating as it is possible each day.  The limits are endless, existent long after my departure, and science will continue to enlighten all that have forgotten, journeying down its pathological way.  Science is never lost, but knowledge to be gained.
